HART to Modbus Gateways

A HART to Modbus gateway reads the digital data your HART transmitters already carry on their 4–20 mA loops (up to four process variables, engineering units, device status and diagnostics) and presents it as ordinary Modbus registers. Almost every PLC, SCADA package and DCS can read Modbus, so there are no new I/O cards and no rewiring: the gateway connects across the existing loop and the analogue signal carries on as before.

The HG1v4 Intelligent HART Gateway serves Modbus TCP, RTU and Encapsulated RTU to several clients at once, and is set up entirely from a web browser with no PC software. It can also act as HART master for a Pepperl+Fuchs KFD2-HMM-16 multiplexer, addressing up to 16 field transmitters per gateway, and publish readings over MQTT to brokers including AWS IoT Core and Azure IoT Hub. Running an HG1 or HG1+? The HG1v4 is a drop-in replacement: same footprint, same 24 V DC supply, same wiring.
