Collection: USB HART Modems for PACTware & FieldCare

USB HART modems to connect a PC to HART field devices for configuration and diagnostics with PACTware, FieldCare and similar tools.

A USB HART modem lets a laptop or PC talk to HART instruments over their 4–20 mA loop: read the configuration and diagnostics, change settings and calibrate. The modem appears as a standard virtual COM port, so it works with the device-management software you already use, including PACTware, FieldCare, FieldMate and SIMATIC PDM.

The HM1-UD USB HART modem is powered from the USB port, so there is nothing else to plug in. Its loop interface is galvanically isolated to 2500 V to protect your PC, and the grabber-clip leads connect either way round. It works as a primary or secondary HART master on point-to-point and multi-drop loops, and fits in a laptop bag for the bench or the field.

Need a permanent connection instead of a portable one? The HG1v4 gateway includes a HART modem that presents the loop to PACTware or FieldCare over the network. Questions? Ask an engineer.
